Refund policy

Returns & Refunds

Change-of-mind returns

Consumers buying online may cancel an order within 14 days, beginning the day after delivery. You must then return the part within a further 14 days.

To start a return, email roadracemotorcycles@gmail.com with your order number and details of the part being returned.

Return items to:

Road & Race Motorcycles Ltd trading as RRMoto
Unit 1A, Gaw End Lane
Macclesfield
SK11 0LB
United Kingdom

Please include your order details inside the parcel. Returns without identifiable order information may be delayed.

Return condition

You may inspect a part as you reasonably would in a shop.

If a part has been fitted, wired in, programmed, run, damaged, modified or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, we may reduce the refund to reflect the resulting loss in value. This deduction may be up to the full value where the part can no longer be resold.

The part should be securely packaged and returned with all brackets, fixings, seals, plugs and other items supplied with it. Please use the original packaging where possible.

Return postage

You are responsible for return postage where you:

  • changed your mind

  • ordered the wrong part

  • no longer require the part

  • failed to check the part number or compatibility

  • supplied incorrect motorcycle or delivery information

Use a tracked and adequately insured service and retain proof of postage.

We will cover reasonable return costs where a part is faulty, incorrectly supplied, materially not as described or incorrectly advertised as compatible. Contact us before returning it so we can agree the return method.

Fitment

You are responsible for checking photographs, part numbers, connectors, measurements and compatibility before ordering.

Motorcycle manufacturers may introduce model, year and regional variations, and motorcycles may have been modified. Any compatibility information is based on the information reasonably available to us.

If our listing specifically stated that the part fitted your motorcycle and that information was materially incorrect, we will treat it as not as described.

Electrical parts

Electrical parts should only be inspected before installation.

If an electrical part has been fitted, connected, coded, programmed or run, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value, including up to the full value where it can no longer be resold.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the part was faulty, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

Damage caused by incorrect installation, defective wiring, voltage faults, short circuits, another faulty component, coding or misuse is not considered an inherent fault with the supplied part.

Modified and personalised parts

The cancellation right does not apply to parts made, cut, coded, programmed or modified to your individual specifications where the statutory exemption applies.

Parts altered, painted, drilled, cut, polished, repaired or damaged after delivery may receive a reduced or zero refund, depending on their remaining value.

Damaged and spares-or-repair parts

Parts advertised as damaged, incomplete or spares or repair may be returned under the applicable 14-day cancellation right.

However, a fault clearly shown or described before purchase is not grounds for a faulty-item claim. Your statutory rights still apply if the part is materially different from its description.

Faulty or incorrect goods

If a part is faulty, damaged in transit, incorrectly supplied or materially not as described, contact us promptly with your order number and photographs where possible.

Used parts are assessed according to their age, price, previous use and the condition disclosed in the listing. We are not responsible for normal wear, disclosed defects, incorrect installation, misuse, modification or damage caused by another component.

Your remedies will be provided in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Refunds

Change-of-mind refunds will be made to the original payment method within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

We may withhold the refund until the goods or evidence of return is received.

For a full-order cancellation, we will refund the cost of our standard outbound delivery. Additional charges for express or upgraded delivery are not refundable.

We do not charge a restocking fee, but we may deduct any genuine loss in value caused by excessive handling, installation, missing components, damage or modification.

Refused or uncollected parcels

Refusing or failing to collect a parcel does not automatically notify us that you wish to cancel the order.

Where a parcel is returned because it was refused, uncollected or supplied with incorrect delivery details, reasonable carrier return charges may be deducted where legally permitted.

Business purchases

The statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply to goods purchased wholly or mainly for business use, workshop use or resale.

International orders

International customers are responsible for return postage on change-of-mind returns and for complying with customs and carrier requirements.

Import VAT, customs duties and handling charges paid directly to authorities or carriers are not refundable by us. Any mandatory consumer rights applicable to an international order remain unaffected.

Cancelling before dispatch

Email roadracemotorcycles@gmail.com as soon as possible. If the order has not been dispatched, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.

Cancellation form

You may cancel by emailing us or by sending the following information:

  • your name and address

  • your order number

  • the part being returned

  • the date ordered and received

  • a clear statement that you wish to cancel the order

You do not have to use this form.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy restricts your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
