Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These Terms apply when you use rrmoto.co.uk or buy goods from us.

The website and store are operated by Road & Race Motorcycles Ltd, trading as RRMoto (referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”).

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Returns & Refunds Policy and our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these Terms affects a consumer’s statutory rights.

2. Eligibility and information you provide

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order.

You must provide accurate billing, delivery and contact information. You are responsible for checking your order and delivery address before submitting it and for keeping any account login details secure.

3. Products and descriptions

We mainly sell used motorcycle parts. Used parts will normally show signs of previous use, age and wear. The condition, disclosed faults and photographs form part of the product description.

Unless a listing states otherwise, photographs of a used part show the actual item being sold. Screen settings may cause minor differences in colour or appearance.

Part numbers, measurements, connectors and photographs should be checked before ordering. Motorcycle manufacturers may introduce model, year and regional variations, and motorcycles may have been modified. Compatibility information is based on the information reasonably available to us.

If we specifically state that a part is compatible with your motorcycle and that statement is materially incorrect, your statutory rights apply. If you order the wrong part despite accurate information being provided, it will be treated as a change-of-mind return.

Unless expressly stated, we do not guarantee the mileage or remaining service life of a used part.

4. Installation and use

Motorcycle parts must be inspected and installed correctly by a suitably competent person. Safety-critical, electrical and electronic components should be tested and fitted by a qualified motorcycle technician where appropriate.

You are responsible for ensuring that a part is suitable for its intended use and that the motorcycle is safe and legal before it is ridden.

We are not responsible for loss or damage to the extent it is caused by incorrect installation, incorrect adjustment, misuse, racing or competition use, modification, defective wiring, incorrect voltage, another faulty component or failure to follow manufacturer procedures. This does not limit liability for a fault that was present in the part when supplied.

5. Orders and contract formation

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An order acknowledgement or payment authorisation does not mean that we have accepted the order.

A contract is formed when we send confirmation that the order has been dispatched. Until then, we may decline or cancel an order, including where:

  • the item is unavailable or was sold through another channel

  • the price or description contains an obvious error

  • payment cannot be authorised

  • we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse

  • delivery is not available to the address provided

If we cancel an order before acceptance, any payment taken will be refunded.

Products remain subject to availability. Placing an item in a basket does not reserve it.

6. Prices and payment

Prices shown include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown before the order is submitted.

International orders may be subject to import VAT, customs duties and carrier handling charges. Unless expressly collected at checkout, these charges are the customer’s responsibility and are not included in our prices.

Payment must be made using a payment method offered at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

We may correct pricing or listing errors before accepting an order. Promotions are subject to their stated terms and may be withdrawn or changed before an order is accepted.

7. Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect any statutory right to cancel for late or failed delivery.

For consumer orders, the goods remain at our risk until they are delivered into your physical possession or to a person identified by you. If you independently arrange a carrier that we did not offer, risk passes when the goods are delivered to that carrier.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Reasonable redelivery or return charges caused by an incorrect address, refusal or failure to collect may be charged or deducted where legally permitted.

Ownership of the goods passes when we have received payment in full and the goods have been delivered.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Consumer cancellation and return rights are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

That policy also explains return postage, fitted or modified parts, electrical parts, faulty goods and refund deductions for loss in value.

The statutory 14-day cancellation right does not normally apply to purchases made wholly or mainly for business use, workshop use or resale.

9. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods

Consumer goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, taking account of the age, price, previous use and disclosed condition of a used part.

Contact us promptly if an item is faulty, damaged in transit, incorrectly supplied or materially not as described. Your remedies will be provided in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Disclosed faults, normal wear and damage caused after delivery are not inherent faults with the supplied part.

10. International orders

You are responsible for complying with the import, registration and use requirements that apply in the destination country.

Customs duties, import VAT and handling charges paid directly to an authority or carrier are not refundable by us. Mandatory consumer rights that apply to an international customer remain unaffected.

11. Website use

The website and its text, photographs, graphics, branding and other content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property law.

You may use the website for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes. You must not, without our permission:

  • copy or commercially reuse our photographs, descriptions or branding

  • interfere with the website’s security or operation

  • introduce malware or harmful code

  • use the website for fraud or unlawful activity

  • use automated systems to scrape, extract or reproduce substantial website content

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business or other users.

12. Third-party services

Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party payment, delivery or technical services. Your purchase contract is with Road & Race Motorcycles Ltd, not Shopify.

Third-party services and websites have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services outside our control, except where the law makes us responsible.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • breach of your statutory rights, including rights relating to title, satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and description

  • any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, avoidable loss, or business losses where the goods were purchased for private use.

If you are buying wholly or mainly for business purposes, then, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or data

  • our total liability arising from an order is limited to the price paid for the item giving rise to the claim

Any business limitation is subject to the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

14. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and will contact you where the delay materially affects your order. Your statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.

15. Personal information

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Shopify and other service providers may process information as described in that policy and their applicable privacy notices.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on the website. Changes will not retrospectively alter an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed with you.

17. Severability and waiver

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

If we do not enforce a provision immediately, that does not waive our right to enforce it later.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory protections provided by the law of your place of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.

If you are buying wholly or mainly for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
